Seat Seam - UPDATE

Post  Fred on Tue Apr 24, 2012 9:00 pm

Mine has given out for an inch on the edge of the seat under my thigh.

Anyone aware of a way to fix this that will not be very noticible and will last?

HONDA has ordered a complete new seat for me covered by warranty!

A trip to Bama still sounds like a good idee.... thumbup

Warranty or you can find a used one pretty cheap if it isn't heated.

Check with Russell Day Rider or, some of the other seat company's that redo stock seats, & they may have a stock cover that they have replaced with leather.

I am sure Allen could fix me up - however I could not take the emotional disturbance of not having a seat / riding.
Unless of course, I could get my good pal Tommy to send me his spare for a bit.....

Shipping would be expensive. It cost me 55 to Russell Day Long and 55 back, 3 years ago.

It is only 460 miles which would take a normal person 7 hours 30 minutes, so that means that you could be here in...lets say 6 hours Very Happy We have a bed room for you when you get here...so I just don't see any problem thumbup
