CB Troubles

Post  Doc on Mon Jul 07, 2014 11:56 am

Those that were at the KSL recently know I was having problems with static in my CB transmissions. We tried Tommy's mic and cable and it was still present.
I've been emailing with Pete at BikeMP3 and he has suggested that it is a bad connections in my splitter for my Sierra antenna. He said they have had trouble with them.
I've ordered a new splitter. Fingers crossed this will solve the problem.  gaah

Hope this takes care of the problem...as I have said in the past "I know Honda has a great CB from the factory or Bruce would have burned up 14 if them by now" from over use  Very Happy

Let us know what the outcome is. I have the dual Sierra antennas. Did Sierra warranty it?

Sierra doesn't make the system I have anymore.
I found a good deal on a Hondaline CB antenna
so I am going back to the dual factory radio and CB antenna.

No Tommy, it was the splitter.
The deal I got, it was cheaper to go with a stock CB antenna than try to get a replacement splitter.
